Spring is in full blossom here in the Wairarapa. Plants are looking spectacular, animals are active and people are full of energy. Here’s some images of the gorgeousness.
Fellow blogger & great photographer, Alex Markovich, sent me this fabulous postcard of a wee bit of Russia.
I love the intense green in this photo- we have lots of green here in Aotearoa, but we would rarely find such similar shades of green in one image- it is great. I had fun inserting this bit of Russia into some Aotearoa greenery.
Check his wide range of work out here…
I am having so much fun photographing the dogs in the region for my upcoming exhibition- ‘The dogs of the Wai’. Here some that have been edited out…
Edited out pooches- so many amazing photos. This is going to be a fun exhibition.
This stunning part of our whenua is North Otago, New Zealand. This was a lunch stop during part of my cycle tour of Te Waipounamu. I have been at it all of 2014- continuing on soon. Cycle touring is such an amazing way to see this spectacular country.
Ups to the Canon Powershot for this pic.
this gem of a museum is awesome- go visit if you’re in wellington (it’s free wooohooo). i am sure many would disagree but this wee gem trumps Te Papa Tongarewa for me. it rocks. kids will be into it too (esp the millennium movie- seriously just go there to see this. magical).
ups to my Samsung galaxy xcover2 and big ups to Vodafone (more on this one day), who donated it to a community arts festival as a prize- which i won!
